Surgery

Born in England, Dr. Benjamin Ley grew up in Florida where he attended the University of Florida studying entomology and zoology. He went on to earn his degree in veterinary medicine from Ross Univerity in 2009. He pursued a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in South Weymouth, MA just south of Boston. Dr. Ley went on to pursue a small animal surgical internship at Sonora Veterinary Specialists in Phoenix, Arizona.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ley to Metropolitan Veterinary Associates as our surgical resident. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, wound healing and fracture repair.
